A sporty hotel in a sporty village....

While on a group cycling tour I spent 2 days at this little gem. Arabba is a picturesque village surrounded by stunning mountain passes traversed by cyclists, motorists and hikers. One can only what a picture it must be in ski season and the slopes are criss-crossed by cable cars. Although I didn’t get to know the innkeeper well it looks very much like a family business with a friendly and committed team. The rooms were clean and comfortable throughout and investment clearly continues as some of my co-riders rooms had clearly has a recent and pretty cool reno. The food was very good and as an added bonus the wine list had a broad representation of Italian regions and varieties, few if any of these wines I would find at home. Good education/experience for a wine enthusiast. Mille Gratzi to the family and crew at Hotel Malita!!

Excellent dinner and Care

Staying at another hotel in Arabba for the week we went in search of dinner. We arrived at the hotel Malita without a reservation, but a table was found for us in the bar with no fuss. As a coeliac I had been tempted by the range if dishes with meat, potatoes and polenta as offering a likely safe option, imagine my delight when the waiter assured me they can offer gluten free pasta and our lovely waitress produced gluten free bread and crackers to go with my starter, she also rushed off to check that the sauce with my chosen dish was suitable. Wonderful service, lovely food so we booked a table for our last night on Friday. Note to the hotel team, add a note to your menu that you have gluten free options. All coeliacs arriving in Arabba will love you for it!

Great location, exceptional staff

The staff were so helpful and friendly and accommodated our group’s dietary foibles with good grace and attentiveness. The meals (breakfast and dinner) were really excellent and plentiful. The room was spacious and warm – although the shower could have been a tad hotter in the evenings – and whilst there was no kettle in the room, the bar staff were happy to provide mugs of hot water for us to make tea, having brought our own tea bags……. The hotel is conveniently situated a 5 min walk from the lifts, the ski hire shop and the tourist centre. So it wasn’t perfect, but we had such a great time that it seemed as though it was.

Fantastic

On our stay in Arabba this was by far the best place that we had our evening meal at very friendly waitress with a big smile , the food and drink was excellent and nothing was to much trouble and I would definitely recommend this place to anybody ..
